Your Future
Where am I now? Where do I want to get to? How am I going to get there? The ‘Your Future‘ website will help you answer these questions, navigate your future and steer you through the coming weeks.
‘Your Future’ is the launch of a range of activities to support you in planning for your future. Your Future 2023 provides themed focus relating to decision making, advice and guidance, career goals, next steps, barriers, and target setting. We’re here to help you realise your ambitions.
Launched in line with National Careers Week on Monday 6th March, ‘Your Future 2023’ runs on through to Friday 10th March, and can be used to steer you through the coming weeks towards your progression and will help inform your decisions for next year.
As part of ‘Your Future 2023’ you can get involved in our virtual events. We have scheduled employer talks, mock interviews, planning tools for your next steps and lots of videos from key employers within the district who offer insight into their industry.
We also have various virtual activity provided by Universities and activity from University Centre at Wakefield College and the importance in gaining higher level skills.
