Summary

The prevent performance, by Wakefield College Performing Arts students, follows main character Tom through his College and home life as he begins to question world events and their impact. He eventually becomes influenced by an extreme group and ends up taking extreme measures for what he believes is right. The performance tackles how young people can be influenced over time and how friends, family and teachers can work together to prevent extremism. The performance was shown to hundreds of internal students and is due to be filmed by West Yorkshire Police to be distributed nationally.
