Mike Goude - The 8000m Challenge
Summary
Mike Goude is a Sports lecturer at Wakefield College with a penchant for the outdoors. He teaches students on the Extended Diploma Sports (Outdoor Adventure) and gets to do lots of exciting activities such as climbing, kayaking and coasteering. For most people, that would be enough. But Mike has set himself a once in a lifetime challenge to conquer the 8,201m (26,906ft) mountain Cho Oyu, in the Himalaya in the spring of 2015.
