The atmosphere at the college is brilliant, the tutors are great, specially to those who have just started doing the course and need advice. After this I’m going to go down the apprenticeship route, preferably working on fire engines or in a garage with a fleet.

I’m really enjoying the course, learning more and getting more into the workings of HGV’s. I really enjoy the Engineering unit as its more hands on and you can see what you have done.

The programme has helped me with my Maths and English, I wouldn’t have been able to get to this stage without it.

I think that having the opportunity to have a work placement with Willmott Dixon really opened my eyes to what the role of a Quantity Surveyor was really like.
