Group wins Yorkshire Learning Providers Award

The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group has been recognised by the Yorkshire Learning Providers Awards for its efforts in helping the region develop the green skills for future demands. The Group’s Skills Bootcamp in the Principles of Carbon Capture and Storage programme was presented with the Best Skills Bootcamp Delivery accolade at the Yorkshire Learning Providers 20th Birthday Awards.
Group marks students’ achievements at Annual Awards Ceremony

The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group ended the year on a high as it celebrated its students’ achievements at its Annual Student Awards Ceremony. Held on Tuesday 12th December at Castleford College, 20 awards were presented throughout the evening across a range of subjects including Construction, Engineering and Mathematics.
West Yorkshire Colleges secure funding to accelerate digital innovation in education

West Yorkshire Colleges have been successful in securing £6.9 million from the Department for Education to digitise teaching and learning in key sectors. The funding is part of the Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF) and will launch a West Yorkshire digital innovation project led by colleges.
